Jeff has over 10 years experience working as a mental health professional helping individuals and families in a variety of capacities. As a Registered Social Worker he has experience in the assessment and treatment of a variety of mental health struggles. He is passionate about helping others which led him to the fields of psychology and counselling. What makes Jeff happy is helping individuals and families improve their quality of life and overcome struggles. Jeff believes that the therapeutic process is a unique and valuable journey for everyone. Jeff approaches his work from a number of therapeutic influences and most often practices from Solution Focused, Cognitive Behavioral and Dialectical Behavior principles. Jeff’s approach to psychotherapy is to work with clients to increase their day to day presence and overall satisfaction in life. His goal is to help individuals make positive changes and move past the barriers that may be creating distress in their lives.
Susan J. Morison
Susan is a Registered Psychologist and has specializations in both clinical and forensic psychology. She has worked within the mental health and corrections systems in Canada and the United States, providing generalized and specialized assessment and treatment for a wide array of psychological and behavioral issues. Susan is a firm believer in human potential and the capacity for change. Over her lengthy career, she has witnessed people overcome some of life’s most adverse challenges and struggles. She believes that, with support, knowledge and the right tools, change is always possible. Susan does not provide couples therapy, however, and does not work with children or younger adolescents.

Timena is a registered Social Worker who has been working in the mental health field for over five years in a variety of different settings. She has a passion for working with people who are struggling with intense emotions and difficulties regulating their emotions.
As a single parent of two teenage daughters, Timena understands that life can be overwhelming sometimes; the demands of kids, work, bills, and relationships eventually catches up with all of us. Using the principles of Mindfulness, and Cognitive and Dialectical Behavioural Therapies, Timena supports people in learning new effective and healthy coping skills to replace the old ineffective, and often destructive coping strategies. Timena believes that all people have the capacity for change, and also understands that change can be difficult.
Timena’s approach to therapy is relaxed, gentle, and incorporates humor and honesty. Timena also believes that the most important aspect of therapy is the relationship between the client and therapist, and she strives to create a safe, respectful, and effective therapeutic relationship with her clients.

BSW, MSW, RSW
Brendan is a Registered Social Worker who has been practicing within the mental health field for over nine years in varying capacities. He has spent time working with children, families, and with individuals to help prepare them to engage with life’s challenges in healthy, productive ways. He enjoys seeing clients understand their goals in life, and coming to terms with how to achieve them through taking conscious action in value driven ways. He uses cognitive behavioral as well as acceptance and commitment therapy models as he believes that these approaches allow client’s to engage in their treatment in such a way that is unique to the individual issues that bring them into psychotherapy to begin with. He has experience with assessment and diagnostic conceptualization and is happy to involve outside professionals including psychiatry should a requirement of care fall outside of his scope of practice. He does not work with young children under the age of 12.

Anthony is a Registered Social Worker and designated Clinical Traumatologist. He has been working in the addictions and mental health field since 2007. Anthony is passionate about helping you cope with the stressors of everyday life. Anthony values the sharing of life experiences, offers a safe place where individuals and families can talk about their concerns, and reconnect with what is meaningful and cherished in one’s life.
Anthony truly believes in fostering healthy relationships and working in a collaborative manner to enable individuals to restore trust, build self-confidence, and mutual respect with their loved ones. As a Clinical Traumatologist Anthony has experience work with individuals living with PTSD. Anthony also worked as an Addictions Counsellor with teenagers for several years and has facilitated both group and individual therapy aimed at addressing substance use concerns.
Anthony’s approach to therapy includes: emotionally focused techniqures, trauma reduction, cognitive behavioural, narrative therapy, mindfulness and aggression replacement training to address anger concerns.

Solomon is a Registered Psychologist with experience in individual and group therapy. He offers individual and group therapeutic interventions that are drawn from evidence-based applications of Mindfulness; Dialectical Behaviour Therapy; Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy and, Narrative Therapy. Solomon’s goal is to foster a therapeutic environment that facilitates safe discovery, healing, and hope through the therapeutic alliance. He believes that with therapeutic exploration one can build awareness, process wounding, promote integration and work towards living a more fulfilling life. Solomon also offer’s services in Amharic.
