Your Counselling Ltd. offers a specialized Probation Services Package for individuals working with parole or probation officers. This program combines assessment, skills training, and reporting to meet probation requirements while supporting personal growth and long-term success.

Program Overview

Probation Services Package Includes:

1. Social Work Assessment

  • Comprehensive psychosocial assessment

  • Exploration of mental health, emotional wellbeing, social supports, risks, and client strengths

  • Provides a baseline understanding to guide services and recommendations

2. Mastering Anger Group (4 Sessions)

  • Structured group program led by skilled clinicians

  • Participants learn to:

    • Understand the roots of anger

    • Identify triggers and early warning signs

    • Apply self-regulation and coping strategies

  • Interactive and supportive group format

3. Summary Note

  • Provided at program completion

  • Sent directly to the referring probation/parole officer

Additionally, clients gain access to the full spectrum of services at Your Counselling Ltd., which may be recommended through the psychosocial assessment.

Who is this program for?
Individuals referred by parole or probation officers (or self-referred) to complete counselling and anger management requirements.

What can I expect?

  • Psychosocial Assessment: A 50-minute one-on-one meeting with a registered social worker or therapist.

  • Mastering Anger Group: Four 75-minute sessions in a supportive group setting.

What will my probation officer see?

  • Officers receive a summary note including assessment findings, attendance, and participation.

  • Personal therapy notes remain confidential.

What if I miss a session?

  • Attendance is mandatory. Missed sessions may prevent program completion.

  • Limited make-up sessions may be available.

What happens after the program?

  • Summary note is sent to the probation officer.

  • Clients may be referred for additional counselling or community supports.

Program Cost

  • Flat Rate: $500
    Includes psychosocial assessment, four anger management sessions, and final summary note.

  • This bundled package is more cost-effective than accessing services individually, providing comprehensive support with a streamlined process for probation officers.

Referrals can be made in two simple ways:

Once received, our team will contact the client directly to arrange the psychosocial assessment and schedule them into the next available anger management group.
