Thank you for choosing Your Counselling Ltd. for your therapeutic needs. This consent form outlines the specific considerations for holding therapy sessions in a park or outdoor environment. It is understood that the request for this service is initiated by the client and will be honored where possible.

1. Nature of Outdoor Therapy Sessions

Therapy in a park offers a unique, informal setting that may help reduce stress and foster a sense of well-being. However, outdoor sessions come with distinct considerations, including privacy concerns, environmental factors, and potential interruptions. By signing this consent form, you agree to and understand the specific nature of these sessions.

2. Confidentiality

While Your Counselling Ltd. is committed to protecting your privacy, outdoor settings cannot guarantee complete confidentiality when outside of our physical office setting. We will take all reasonable precautions to ensure privacy, including selecting quiet locations. However, others in the vicinity may overhear parts of the session. If at any time you feel uncomfortable or concerned about confidentiality, please inform your therapist so adjustments can be made.

3. Environmental Considerations

Sessions in the park are subject to weather conditions and environmental factors such as noise, insects, or uneven terrain. In case of severe weather or other environmental disruptions, the session will be conducted virtually.

• Clothing: Please dress appropriately for the weather and environment.
• Safety: The therapist will ensure the selected location is safe, but it is the client's responsibility to report any health conditions that may affect outdoor activities.

4. Boundaries and Comfort

During outdoor therapy, your comfort and safety are paramount. You have the right to end the session at any time if you feel uncomfortable with the location or circumstances. You can also request to return to an indoor setting for future sessions.

5. Acknowledgment of Risks

By consenting to therapy in a park/outdoor setting, you acknowledge that there may be risks beyond the control of Your Counselling Ltd. These risks may include, but are not limited to, public exposure, uneven terrain, or sudden changes in weather.

6. Cancellation or Rescheduling

If an outdoor session must be canceled or rescheduled due to weather or other uncontrollable factors, it will be switched to virtual or in office. You may also request to reschedule or change the location of the session for personal reasons. Late Cancel or Change Fees are not waved due to weather conditions as it is understood that the session will be conducted virtually.

7. Emergency Situations

In the event of an emergency during the session, standard procedures will apply. If the location is unsafe or emergency medical attention is required, the therapist will assist in contacting appropriate emergency services.

8. Consent to Participate

I, the undersigned, have read and understood the considerations and conditions of engaging in therapy sessions in a park or outdoor environment. I consent to participate in outdoor therapy sessions with my therapist. I understand that I may revoke this consent at any time and that I can request a return to indoor sessions if I so choose
