About Your Counselling

Our Guiding Philosphy

At Your Counselling we believe that the need to connect with others, to explore ones sense of self and to understand our emotional, cognitive, behavioural and interpersonal relations are common human experiences. We believe that with psychotherapy space is created for this reflective process.

Our Principles

We believe in supporting people to explore their lives, emotions, behaviours and relationships. A core value of Your Counselling is the belief that people are resilient and with increased self-awareness, reflection, and skill development they can have a greater sense of meaning and overall happiness in their daily life.

Your Counselling is All About Your Personal Journey

We started Your Counselling to change the way people view therapy. Counselling is not about one person fixing another, it’s about working together to overcome whatever struggles you are facing so you can live your best life.

We want people to feel comfortable and empowered by their decision to seek help, because it is a courageous thing to do, rather than feeling scared or apprehensive. Your Counselling exists to help you be your greatest self.

“Strength does not come from physical capacity. It comes from an indomitable will.”
